NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston University women's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the season on Sunday as it finished 13th in the Yale Invitational.
Sophomore
Christy Chen was the team's top performer over the weekend, finishing 13th at plus-3 (68-77-71--216). Junior
Flair Kuan tied for 47th at plus-15 (74-77-77--228) while senior
Alice Fan was two strokes behind in a tied for 51st at plus-17 (76-75-79--230).
Senior
Monica Yu provided the team's fourth score in both rounds on Saturday and tied with classmate
Kristen Min Ju Kim on Sunday with an 83.
Chen's opening-round 68 was one off the program-record of 67 set by
Hanako Kawasaki in Oct. 2018, which also took place at the Yale Invitational.
The Terriers will return to action in two weeks when take part in the Boston College Intercollegiate on Sept. 26-27.
