BOSTON – The Boston University men's rowing program concluded its time at the 58th Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday (Oct. 22), with the DeWolfe Boathouse serving as the starting line for the course.
BU raced two crews on the afternoon with the Championship 4+ and Championship 8+. The former, coxed by
James Smith and stroked by
Friedrich Amelingmeyer, finished in a time of 17:00.140, good for sixth place out of 13 crews, including ahead of the top boats from Oregon State and Wisconsin.
The Terrier entry in the Championship 8+, coxed by
Peter Adams and stroked by
Bowen de Gouw, was 19th with a time of 15:07.537.
BU concludes the fall portion of its schedule with the Foot of the Charles on Saturday (Nov. 11).
