BOSTON – Concluding a two-game road trip, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit Sacred Heart on Saturday with tip-off slated for 2 p.m.
Both squads are looking to bounce back from losses to the America East with the Terriers dropping an 86-72 decision at Albany this past Wednesday and the Pioneers falling at home to New Hampshire, 90-84.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- 10 Terriers have already scored in double figures with four accomplishing the feat multiple times so far.
- Having hit the mark four times, including a combined 27 points over the last two contests, senior Miles Brewster leads BU at 9.3 ppg alongside a team-high 3.0 apg and 1.9 spg with freshman Kyrone Alexander close behind at 9.1 ppg.
- Owner of BU's lone double-double this season against Bryant, junior Ethan Okwuosa has a team-high 5.1 rpg with 7.6 ppg, while junior Malcolm Chimezie has 8.7 ppg with 5.0 rpg.
- In Wednesday's loss, BU allowed 70+ points on the road for the first time, as the Great Danes finished with a 14-4 advantage in made 3-pointers. BU has hit 14 3-pointers in both wins this season against Bryant and VTSU-Johnson.

SCOUTING SACRED HEART
- Sacred Heart is looking to improve to 3-0 this year against the Patriot League following an 84-77 win at Holy Cross and 66-51 victory vs. Loyola Maryland at UMBC.
- The Pioneers are 2-1 at home this season after posting a 9-6 record last year with wins over Binghamton (89-75) and Sarah Lawrence College (95-51).
- Four Pioneers are averaging in double figures with Nico Galette owning a team-high 15.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 18 assists and 18 steals.
- Alex Sobel leads SHU at 7.8 rpg with 10.5 ppg and 21 blocks.
- Overall, SHU is averaging 79.3 ppg and 44.3 FG% while holding opponents to 72.6 ppg and 43.4 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY
- Teams are meeting for the first time in program history.
