MELBOURNE, Fla. - All five Terriers posted better scores in the second and final round of the Columbia Classic on Monday as the Boston University women's golf team moved up a spot to finish 10th in the 14-team tournament at Duran Golf Club.
Sophomore
Christy Chen was BU's top finisher, posting a 76-73--149 (+5) to end up tied for 23rd. Senior
Alice Fan improved a stroke off her opening-round 76 to post a 151 (+7) and tie for 33rd.
Junior
Flair Kuan recorded a 79-75--154 (+10) for the tournament, finishing in a tie for 45th. Making her collegiate debut, freshman
Annika Manjunath followed up an 83 with a 79 to finish tied for 65th at 162 (+18). Sophomore
Victoria Takai tallied an 86-80--166 (+22) to earn a tie for 72nd.
Fan had a team-best four birdies in Monday's final round while Manjunath and Takai had two apiece.
The Terriers finished one stroke behind ninth-place Richmond in the last time the Patriot League rivals will face off before the conference championship.
BU will return to action on March 13-14 when it travels to North Carolina to compete in UNC Wilmington's River Landing Classic.
