BOSTON – The Boston University women's swimming & diving program earned 2022-23 CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition and had 26 team members earn a spot on the 2022-23 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll. As a team, the Terriers posted a 3.63 GPA this past semester.
Freshman
Haley Newman earned a spot on the 2023 CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America Second Team after posting NCAA "B" cuts in both the 200 butterfly and 400 IM while earning a GPA of 3.53 in the spring.
For the third straight year, BU had 20 or more honorees on the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. Student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their league championship takes place.
In total, 3,615 Patriot League student-athletes were named to the academic honor roll, with 2,431 chosen for the winter-spring campaign. The Patriot League has now topped 3,000 total academic honor roll members for six consecutive years.
