BOSTON – The Boston University men's rowing program recorded 11 IRA All-Academic honorees for the 2022-23 year, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
To be eligible for recognition, a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letterwinner, and competed at the 2023 IRA National Championship Regatta.
In all, 337 student-athletes from 22 member institutions were recognized.
With the accolades, BU has had 23 IRA All-Academic honorees in the past two seasons. Of the 11 recipients, six earned the award for the second-consecutive year:

Ethan Feldman,
Alexander Jastremski,
Owen Loeb,
Stefan Scornavacca, and
Paul Seiters.
Five members of BU's Varsity 8 from the IRA Championship made the IRA All-Academic Team. Two sat in the Second Varsity 8, and three occupied the Third Varsity 8. Coxswain
Philip Melki represented the Terriers' Varsity 4 from the regatta.
