BOSTON — The Boston University women's swimming & diving team closed out the 18
th annual Terrier Invite Sunday night at the FitRec Competition Pool, finishing second of six competing teams with 1,057.5 points.

Katie Pestrichelli touched the wall at 17:10.17 in the 1650-yard freestyle to kick off the night, finishing fifth in the finals.

Cambria Jewett was the top finisher for the Terriers in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:00.68 and taking third place to pick up 20 points for BU. Jewett's preliminary time of 1:59.41 was the second-fastest mark in school history.
In the 200-yard butterfly, junior
Haley Newman swam to a third-place finish with a time of 2:04.25 to pace BU.
The Terriers clocked a time of 3:28.18 in the 400 free relay to close out the weekend, as junior

Summer Brainin, senior
Sasha Ramey and junior
Janhvi Choudhary earned 40 points for BU.
Northeastern University won the meet for the second straight year, finishing with 1,435 points. Following the Terriers were UMass (1,040.5 points), Boston College (1,014 points), Fairfield (853 points) and Bryant (35 points), who only brought divers. This was the second straight year where the Terriers finished second at the meet.
This was the last meet of the semester for the Terriers, who return to the pool Friday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at MIT in Cambridge.
