PALM CITY, Fla. – Led by junior
Christy Chen's second-place finish, the Boston University women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, which wrapped up on Tuesday at Hammock Creek Golf Club.

Chen shot a 1-under 71 in the final round to finish the three-round tournament at plus-1 (72-74-71—217), tying her with Elon's Annie Wu for second place in the 82-golfer field. Chen has placed in the top three of all five tournaments this season, including three wins.Â

Freshman
Hibiki Adachi, who competed as an individual, secured a top-20 finish, posting a 10-over 226 (74-74-78) to tie for 14th.

Amy Han shot a 4-over 76 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 22nd in her collegiate debut with a 15-over 231 (76-79-76). Â Junior
Victoria Takai finished with her best round of the tournament, shooting a 6-over 78, closing out a score of 240 (82-80-78). Both Han and Takai moved up seven spots on the leaderboard on Tuesday.

Meiqi Gao posted BU's fourth score on Tuesday with an 8-over 80. She ended up tied for 33rd with a score of 235 (74-81-80).

Annika Manjunath carded a final round of 84 and finished in a tie for 59th at 242 (75-83-84).

The Terriers recorded a 916 (297-314-305) for the tournament to finish in sixth among the 14 teams. Jacksonville State won the tournament with an 897.

BU will return to action in a month when it closes out spring break by participating in the Low Country Invitational, hosted by Wofford on March 15-17.
