TERRIER TIDBITS

  • BU will face its third top-10 foe over the last four games on Tuesday when Yale visits Nickerson.
  • The Terriers are 1-1 in those previous top-10 matchups, as they defeated then-No. 1 Army West Point, 14-9, on March 22 and then fell at then-No. 5 Duke, 11-10, on March 27.
  • BU has won four of its last five games, including a 22-6 victory at Holy Cross on March 30.
  • Junior Brenden Kelly scored a career-high six goals in that victory en route to being named to the USILA D1 Team of the Week.
  • Kelly has notched a goal in nine straight games and has recorded at least three points in seven straight contests.
  • Graduate student Vince D'Alto recorded six assists against the Crusaders and became the second Terrier to record 100 goals and 100 assists, joining classmate Louis Perfetto.
  • D'Alto needs just two goals to become the program's all-time goal scoring leader, surpassing the great James Burr ('19), who totaled 153 goals during his illustrious career.
  • Perfetto is fifth in the nation with 5.40 points per game and leads BU in goals (29), assists (25) and points (54).
  • Junior goalkeeper Will Barnes enters Tuesday ranked fifth in the nation with 14.30 saves per game and sixth in the country with a .584 save percentage, which also leads the Patriot League.
  • He has made at least 10 saves in six straight games and owns a 9.68 GAA since March 9.

HISTORY AGAINST YALE

  • Yale has won both meetings against the Terriers, earning a 22-15 victory at Nickerson in 2022 and a 17-14 triumph in New Haven last season.
  • BU outscored Yale, 19-11, during the second half across both contests.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

  • Yale enters Tuesday's tilt on a three-game win streak, with the Bulldogs most recently defeating No. 12 Penn, 12-9.
  • The Bulldogs have the second-best offense in the country, averaging 16.0 goals per game.
  • Senior Matt Brandau leads Yale in goals (26), assists (31) and points (57).
  • Brandau is also the nation's leader in points per game (6.33).

  • As a team, Yale ranks first in faceoff percentage (.649) and ground balls per game (40.11).
  • Junior goalkeeper Jared Paquette owns a 12.93 goals-against average and a .493 save percentage.
