HAMILTON, N.Y. – Sophomore

BU (8-16, 2-11 PL) surrendered 21 turnovers, tied for its most in a Patriot League game this season, allowing the Raiders (19-7, 9-4 PL) to generate 31 points in a game the latter led for all but 1:08.

Inés Monteagudo Pardo scored all 10 of her points in the first half.
Taylor Golembiewski paced Colgate with 16 points and four steals. Morgan McMahon drained 6-of-10 shots from the field for 15 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Bentley and senior Alex Giannaros converted early layups for a 4-3 lead, Colgate executed an 11-2 run to go ahead 14-6 halfway through the opening quarter.
- Monteagudo cashed in a three-pointer, then Bentley scored another basket to pull BU within three before Christina Midgette beat the buzzer with a layup to push the Raider lead to 20-15 after 10 minutes of play.
- Three Bentley foul shots and Monteagudo's third triple of the game at the second's 6:50 mark brought the Terriers within 22-21, but McMahon started and finished a 9-2 Raider spurt with five Anne Bair points in between to establish a 31-23 Colgate advantage.
- After junior Anete Adler's layup with 4:20 on the timer, BU did not make another field goal in the first half to trail 34-25 at the break.
- Bentley scored six points in the first 4:10 of the third to help BU come within one possession, but Sophia Diehl and McMahon combined for three consecutive three-point plays to replenish the Raiders' double-digit lead at 49-38 with 3:39 to go in the frame.
- Diehl closed the third with a straightaway three to cap an extended 17-4 run across a 5:50 span to push the Colgate lead to 57-42.
- The Terriers mustered just three field goals in the final quarter from Giannaros, freshman Channing Warren and Bentley.
