Q. Hutson led the nation this week with seven points on two goals and five assists as he helped the Terriers close the regular season with a pair of victories. Hutson collected a career-best four assists in an 8-2 win over No. 6 Providence on Thursday before notching two goals and one assist in a 6-1 triumph at Vermont on Saturday. Hutson, the national leader in points per game (1.44), has now set new career highs in goals (20), assists (26) and points (46).
Eiserman notched his second hat trick of the season in an 8-2 romp over No. 6 Providence on Thursday and then tallied one goal and also had a primary assist in a 6-1 win at Vermont on Saturday. Nobody in the nation scored more goals than Eiserman did in the past week. He is the fourth Terrier rookie in the last 20 years to notch 20 goals, joining Jack Eichel (2014-15), Clayton Keller (2016-17) and Macklin Celebrini (2023-24). Eiserman leads all NCAA rookies with 20 goals, three clear of the next closest freshman, and is tied for eighth among the nation's first-year players with 29 points.
C. Hutson notched one goal and two assists in each of the Terriers' two wins. No defenseman in the country had more points (6), assists (4) or a better plus-minus (+5) than Hutson did this week. He has established himself as one of the best rookies and best defensemen, regardless of class, in the country. Hutson leads all NCAA rookies in points (39) and assists (27), and he also paces all NCAA defensemen in points per game (1.18). Hutson joined his brother Lane as the only defensemen since 2005-06 to record at least 10 goals and 25 assists in their first 33 career games.
