BOSTON – Riding a 38-game home unbeaten streak, the Boston University softball team will host Ivy League foe Yale in a home-opening doubleheader with first pitch set for Tuesday at 1 p.m.
The contests against the Bulldogs mark a new era for the Terriers, as they will unveil their
new field turf that allows for better ball roll and reduced infill splash. The BU Softball Field originally featured an astroturf surace and was converted to a natural grass outfield/all-dirt infield in 2001.
