Aiosa Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Sophomore Natalie Aiosa of the Boston University women's lacrosse team was named to the Academic All-Patriot League team on Wednesday morning, the league announced.

Aiosa started every game for the Terriers in net this season and missed just five minutes of action during the season. She made 152 saves and earned eight wins in net for the Terriers, while sporting a .452 save percentage. Her 9.50 saves per game ranks third in the Patriot League and is 19th in the NCAA entering Wednesday and her save percentage is fifth in the league and 39th in the NCAA.

She is the first Terrier to be named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team since Jennifer Barry in 2023 and is the first Terrier goalkeeper to earn the honor since Christine Laible in 2018.

The Catonsville, Maryland native's 152 saves are the most by a Terrier goalkeeper since Laible made 167 in 2018. Aiosa is now up to 270 saves in her first two years of her collegiate career. She made 10 or more saves in seven games this season.

In the classroom, Aiosa is a psychology major and boasts a 3.98 GPA and has been named to the Dean's List each semester at BU. She was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2024.
