BOSTON – Concluding the regular season, the Boston University softball team will host Lafayette in a three-game Patriot League series over the weekend.

Due to expected inclement weather, the Senior Day ceremony recognizing co-captains Sydney Pecoraro and Tyesha Williams will now take place before Saturday's doubleheader, which was moved up an hour to 11 a.m. The third scheduled contest currently remains slated for 12 p.m. on Sunday.

With three conference games left, the Terriers are currently second in the standings at 11-4. They will need a sweep over the Leopards (5-10 PL) and for Colgate (6-9 PL) to sweep the Black Knights (13-2 PL) to earn PL tournament hosting rights next weekend. If Army wins at least one game, BU will need a sweep over Lafayette to stay ahead of Lehigh (13-5 PL) for the No. 2 seed. The Leopards, Raiders and Bucknell (5-10 PL) are in a battle for the final spot in the event.
