Biography

2006 HIGHTLIGHTS (Junior): Played in all 21 games during the 2006 season, starting 17... Fifth on the team in total points (9) and goals (3), as well as fourth in assists (3)... Earned the team[apos]s Academic Achievement Award for having the highest GPA on the team... Scored the game-winning goal on Sept. 2 at Princeton, notching both goals in the 2-0 victory... Eighth on the team with 14 shots and second on the team with a .214 shot percentage... Nine of those shots were on goal, finishing fifth on the team in that category and eighth for shots on goal percentage.

2005 HIGHLIGHTS (Sophomore): Played in all 23 games, starting 21 at forward... Fired off 30 shots on the year, including a season-high five against Maine in the America East Tournament championship game (11/5)... Notched second career assist versus Hartford (10/23)... America East Academic Honor Roll.

2004 HIGHLIGHTS (Freshman): Played in 14-of-20 games... Started the Michigan match (9/12) with all other action coming off the bench... Eight appearances came on the road... Had first career assist in 1-0 win over Rhode Island (9/24)... Had a season-high three shots versus Stony Brook (10/24) and two versus Albany (10/22) to account for the majority of her shots... Named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL (Catlin Gabel): Played varsity soccer for one of the most successful programs in Oregon... The team won the league title all four years that she played, while they were state champions junior and senior years... Capped off career by being named the Oregon State Player of the Year as a senior in 2003... The league[apos]s Player of the Year and First Team All-State, was also a finalist for the Johnny Carpenter Award as the State[apos]s Prep Athlete of the Year... A Second Team All-League pick as a freshman, earned First Team All-League and All-State honors as a junior... Served as team co-captain as both a junior and senior... Club team, FC Portland Green, won the national club tournament in 2003... An excellent all-around athlete, also lettering three years for both the basketball and tennis teams... On the tennis court, played number one doubles... In 2003, finished third in the district, while the team won the State title that same year... Also served as editor of the school yearbook and was a peer counselor.

PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 21, 1985... Daughter of Richard and Susan Basham... Enrolled in the University[apos]s College of Arts and Sciences.
