David Boloz has joined the Boston University Women’s Soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach in June, 2019.

Boloz possesses a United States Soccer Federation National B License, as well as the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma. 

He previously served as an assistant coach for the women’s program at Framingham State University from 2009-13. During his tenure, he coached the 2013 MASCAC Player of the Year, the 2011 Rookie of the Year, and guided the Rams to the 2013 regular season title.

Boloz was also the men’s head assistant coach at Worcester State University for the 2001 and 2002 seasons, where the Lancers captured back-to-back MASCAC regular season and conference championships. Boloz was instrumental in guiding Worcester State to advance to the Round of 16 in the 2001 NCAA Tournament and coaching the 2002 MASCAC Player of the Year. In September 2021, Boloz was inducted into the Worcester State Athletics Hall of Fame along with the players and coaches of the 2001 men's soccer team.

Since 2000, he has been actively coaching in the Massachusetts State ODP program as a head and assistant coach. He has been the Girl’s U15 Head Coach since 2015. Boloz is also a member of the senior coaching staff for the ODP Girls East Region. Over the years he has coached players at various ages in ODP who have gone on to join the BU women's soccer program. In addition, he has been a varsity high school coach, was the Director of Coaching for Southborough Youth Soccer, and has coached club soccer. He currently sits on the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Board of Directors. 

Boloz graduated from Bentley University, where he played from 1988-1990. He also attended the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia where he played in 1991.

He currently works at BU in its Information Services & Technology department, where he is an Assistant Director of Technology. He resides with his family in Southborough.
