PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Boston University men's tennis team (1-1) opened the 2007 spring season on a down note, dropping the Terriers' first dual match of 2007, 7-0, to Brown University (6-1) Saturday evening.
Senior Ross Lohr (Newton, Mass.) had the most success for the Terriers at singles. He pushed his first set in the No. 5 slot to a tie-breaker, but Brown's Joe Scott pulled out the victory 7-6, 6-3.
Lohr was able to exact a measure of revenge in doubles. He teamed up with sohomore Miron Nissim (Milan, Italy) to defeat Scott and Noah Gardner 8-6 in the No. 3 spot.
