SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Boston University women's golf team claimed first place at the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 23. In the two-day tournament, the Terriers entered the final day of competition in first place and carded a 663 to maintain their lead. Junior Allison Hamilton (78-85--163) and sophomore Kaitlyn Mardeusz (84-79--163) led the way for BU in a six-way tie for eighth place.

Senior Hannah Barry was the next Terrier to complete the course, finishing in 17th place (82-84--166). Freshman Dana DeStefano finished in 31st with rounds of 87 and 84 (171). Rounding out the field was junior Lauren Stong in 37th (88-88--176).

As a team, the Terriers led all competitors with 10 birdies. Mardeusz led all players in par 3 scoring and recorded five birdies.

Coming up for the Terriers is the Rutgers Invitational on Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13.
