The No. 11 Boston University lacrosse team looks to extend its three-game winning streak as it hosts cross-town rival Boston College Wednesday (March 26) at 4:00 p.m. at Nickerson Field. The game will be webcast via the BU All-Access page on GoTerriers.com, along with a radio broadcast by WTBU.

The Terriers (6-2, 2-0 AE) are coming off a pair of road wins against Binghamton and Albany last weekend, after defeating No. 10/17 Yale at home on Wednesday. Junior Sarah Dalton notched her 100th career goal on Friday as Boston University completed a 19-8 win over the Bearcats behind a 13-2 run that lasted 30 minutes.

BU continued its hot streak Saturday, running off a 14-1 tear before allowing Albany's second goal midway through the second half, finishing the game with a 15-2 final score.

For their efforts last week, junior Sarah Dalton was named the America East Player of the week and sophomore Rachel Klein was awarded Defender of the Week honors. Dalton notched four goals and an assist in each of the Terriers three games last week, moving into 10th all-time for Boston University with 106. Klein supported the Terrier defense, stopping 25 shots over the week while allowing only 17 goals.

The Eagles (2-5, 1-1 ACC) are coming off a 13-10 loss against Massachusetts on Saturday. After BC scored the game's first two goals, the Minutemen notched six of the next seven to build a 6-3 lead. Although the Eagles knotted the score with 7:16 remaining in the first half, another UMass scoring run created a 12-8 cushion for the Minutemen with 8:31 remaining in the game.

Sophomore Lauren Costello leads Boston College with 26 points, also scoring 18 goals this season. Junior Jenna McCabe sets the team pace in goals with 20, tallying 24 points so far this season, while junior Maura Mahoney holds the team mark with 11 assists. Freshman Sheila Serafino and junior Katie Monaghan have split time in goal this season, with Monaghan getting the majority of the minutes. The junior has a .333 save percentage along with a 14.49 goals against average, sporting a 1-3 record so far this season.

BC is 0-2 against opponents in common with the Terriers, the loss to Massachusetts and an 11-8 defeat at the hands of No. 10 Yale. BU won both of its games against those teams, with an 11-7 win to open the season at UMass and a 10-7 victory over Yale last week at Nickerson Field.
