Arik Seiler earned the men's swimming Most Valuable Player honors after another standout season in which he swam lifetime bests in six events. The Portland, Maine native improved his times in the 50 free (22.02), 100 free (46.19), 200 free (1:40.21), 100 fly (53.03), 200 IM (1:56.79) and 400 IM (4:12.75).

In addition, he was a member of two record-breaking relay teams - the 200 and 400-medley relays. At the America East Swimming and Diving Championship, Seiler won two relay titles, while placing second in the 100 and 200 free and fourth in the 500 free.
