Junior goaltender Allyse Wilcox was named the MVP of the women's ice hockey team after helping the Terriers reach their first Hockey East playoffs in just their third season at the varsity level.

Wilcox ranked seventh in the country in save percentage at .925 and her 1.96 goals against average was good for ninth. She posted three shutouts - all coming in league play - and earned a 12-12-2 record in her 26 starts between the pipes.

She went on to be named to the Hockey East All-Star First Team and was also selected as an All-New England All-Star.
