Senior co-captain Pete MacArthur was named MVP of the 2007-08 Boston University men's ice hockey team. The leading scorer for the Terriers in each of the last three seasons, MacArthur wrapped up his stellar career by earning a spot on the RBK East All-America Second Team and was also selected to the College Hockey News All-America Second Team.

One of the hardest working players to ever put on a BU jersey, MacArthur ranks 18th in program history in career points with 147 and his 64 career goals are good for 25th. He became the first Terrier since Chris Drury to reach the 100-point mark as a junior.

A co-captain for this year's Terrier squad, MacArthur led BU with a career-best 45 points on 21 goals and 24 assists en route to earning Hockey East First-Team All-Star honors in addition to a spot on the New England Division I All-Star Team. MacArthur is one of only four Terriers to be named a Hockey East All-Star in three consecutive seasons, joining Drury, John Cullen and John Curry.

He was a two-time Hockey East Player of the Week selection this year and was named the league's Player of the Month in December.
