Senior Brandon Batey received the 2008 men’s rowing MVP honor. He stroked the varsity eight for the entire regular season. The men’s varsity picked up wins over Dartmouth and Rutgers in the Bill Cup and defeated George Washington in a dual regatta on the final weekend of racing in the regular season.

He remained the stroke through a lineup reshuffling for the Eastern Sprints and IRA.With his assistance, the Terriers reached the Petite Finals at the Eastern Sprints, finishing 11th overall, and then placed 16th at the IRA after advancing to the Thrid Level Final.
