The 10th-ranked Boston University lacrosse team will devote their game this Saturday (March 7) to helping fund pediatric brain tumor research through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation. The Terriers take on 12th-ranked Vanderbilt at 1 p.m. at Nickerson Field. Half of the ticket proceeds from Saturday's game will go the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.

Both BU and Vanderbilt have adopted children through Friends of Jaclyn and the two teams are meeting to make a day to increase awareness of pediatric brain tumors. BU has donated tickets to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and other charities are encouraged to attend. All players and staff from both teams will be wearing a special Friends of Jaclyn warm-up T-shirts made by Brine. The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation improves the quality of life for children suffering with pediatric brain tumors and helps fund research.

Saturday's game will also be High School/Middle School Day with free admission for teams that fill out a roster sheet. Group incentives are also available by contacting Kirsten Olson.
