2010 Fall Schedule
Stars & Stripes Weekend
BOSTON - Highlighted by matchups with the U.S. Women's Senior Team and 2010 NCAA runner-up Northwestern, the Boston University lacrosse team has announced its 2010 fall schedule. In all, the Terriers will face 10 squads in just over a two-week span and play two contests, including the team's annual alumni game, at Nickerson Field.
Before BU opens its fall schedule with a home contest against Louisville on Oct. 2, the Terriers will participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Boston on Sept. 25.
On Oct. 3, BU will face Albany (9 a.m.), Massachusetts (noon) and Boston College (2 p.m.) at the Harvard Fall Tournament.
The Terriers return to Cambridge, Mass., the following Sunday (Oct. 16) for the 2010 Stars & Stripes event, hosted by US Lacrosse. Scheduled to compete against BU is Team USA at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
On Oct. 16, the Terriers travel to Westwood High School in Westwood, Mass., to face Northwestern and New Hampshire at 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively.
BU, along with Connecticut (9 a.m.), Hofstra (11 a.m.), Massachusetts (noon) and Temple (2 p.m.), will then play in the Friends of Jaclyn Tournament on the campus of Thayer Academy in Braintree, Mass., on Oct. 17.
The Terriers close out the fall season at Nickerson Field with their alumni game on Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. A team banquet will follow.
