Freshman Marie-Philip Poulin of the No. 3 Boston University women's ice hockey team has been named this week's GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Poulin registered a hat trick in a 4-0 shutout over Vermont on Jan. 22, as the Terriers won their 100th game in program history. With her second goal, the Beauceville, Que., native collected her 40th point of the season to break BU's single-season record. Melissa Anderson (`10) notched 39 points during the 2009-10 campaign.

Poulin, who was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week, later tied Anderson for the single-season goals mark (21) when she scored her third marker of the contest.

The freshman, who ranks first among all rookies in the NCAA in points per game (2.05), leads Hockey East in both points (41) and assists (20).
