The fifth-ranked Boston University women's hockey team returns to action on Saturday afternoon as the Terriers host Connecticut at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m.

BU (7-4-1, 2-1-0 WHEA) looked sharp in a 5-2 victory over New Hampshire last Saturday that saw four different Terriers light the lamp. Junior forward Isabel Menard potted a pair of goals, including the game-winner, and redshirt freshman Caroline Campbell scored her first collegiate goal. Sophomore Kerrin Sperry stopped 18 shots for her fifth win of the season.

The Terriers will get senior captain Jenn Wakefield back in the lineup for the weekend, as she missed the previous two games playing for Team Canada at the Four Nations Cup in Sweden. Wakefield helped Canada earn a silver medal during the four-day tournament. She currently leads BU with nine goals and 16 points, and she is tied with Menard for the team-lead in assists with seven.

Connecticut (1-10-2, 1-4-0 WHEA) is in the midst of a five-game losing streak. In the Huskies' last game, they mustered just nine shots on goal in a 2-0 loss to Providence. UConn has been held scoreless in the last three games and in four of its last five losses. Senior defenseman Sami Evelyn leads the Huskies with six points (2-4--6). She is tied with four others for the team-lead in goals with two.

Goaltending duties have been split between sophomore Nicole Paniccia and senior Alexandra Garcia. Both netminders have played in seven games, with Paniccia leading the Huskies with a .922 save percentage and a 2.55 goals-against average. Garcia has posted a .904 save percentage and a 3.15 GAA.

The Terriers will waste little time getting back on the ice after their contest against Connecticut, as BU will head south to Rhode Island to take on the Providence College Friars. Puck drop for Sunday's game is scheduled for 2 p.m.
