The No. 5 Boston University women's hockey team will look for its third straight victory on Sunday afternoon when the Terriers travel to Providence to take on the Friars.

BU is riding high after a thrilling 4-2 victory over Connecticut on Saturday afternoon at Walter Brown Arena. The Terriers trailed, 1-0, entering the third period, but four goals, including two in a span of 2:53, propelled them past the Huskies. Junior forward Isabel Menard scored twice for the second straight game and senior defenseman Tara Watchorn notched her first goal of the season to go along with a pair of assists. Freshman forward Kayla Tutino's third shorthanded goal of the season proved to be the game-winner.

The Terriers got their leading scorer back in Jenn Wakefield for yesterday's contest, and the senior captain notched an assist to bring her team-best point total to 17 (9-8--17). Menard is a close second with 14 points (7-7--14) and Tutino is next with 11 points (7-4--11).

Providence also comes into today's game on a high note, as the Friars have won four in a row and are unbeaten in their last six games. Genevieve Lacasse made 22 saves for her third shutout of the season yesterday, as Providence blanked Vermont, 3-0. Lacasse boasts a 2.10 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.

Sophomore forward Corinne Buie leads the Friars' offense, as she has six goals and seven assists for 13 points. A pair of seniors is behind her with 12 points each. Laura Veharanta (6-6--12) shares the team-lead in goals with Buie, while Abby Gauthier (2-10--12) leads the team in assists.

After Sunday's matinee the Terriers will hit the road for a pair of games in Ithaca, N.Y., as BU faces off against Cornell in a weekend series that begins Friday at 7 p.m.
