Tickets for the 34th annual Women’s Beanpot, hosted this year by Boston University at Walter Brown Arena, go on sale Friday morning (Dec. 9) at 10 a.m. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling 800-745-3000, as well as in person at Boston University’s Agganis Arena Ticket Office.

Ticket prices for each round are $5 for the general public and $3 for children age 12 and under as well as seniors. Children under two do not need a ticket. These tickets will be available both online at www.ticketmaster.com and in person at the Agganis Arena Ticket Office.

Students from each of the four participating schools are eligible for one free ticket per valid student ID. Those tickets, along with group tickets, are only available at the Agganis Arena Ticket Office or Walter Brown Arena on game days. Group tickets are $2 for groups of 10 or more.

The event kicks off on Tuesday, Jan. 31, when Boston College and Northeastern face off at 5 p.m. BU will host Harvard in the nightcap scheduled for 8 p.m. The second round will take place the following Tuesday, Feb. 7, with the consolation game beginning at 5 p.m., before the championship contest at 8 p.m.

BU last hosted the Beanpot in 2008 when the Terriers advanced to the title game against Harvard. Boston College is the defending champion.
