Junior Tewado Latty won the 400m dash to highlight the Boston University men's track & field action at the IC4A championships at the Track and Tennis Center on Saturday and Sunday.
Latty won 400m dash with a time of 47.34, just two tenths of a second faster than the second-place finisher. Senior Dan Withrow was the other Terrier to place at the championships, as he finished 12th in the shot put (15.49m).
Three other Terriers recorded times in the preliminaries. Senior James Weider ran in the 1,000m sophomore R.J. Page competed in the 200m and freshman Stephen Vitale participated in the 500m.
At the same time, the women's track & field team competed at the ECAC championships at Northeastern's Reggie Lewis Center.
Sophomore Allison Barwise won the high jump (1.80m), while classmate Nikko Brady and junior Shelby Walton shined in multiple events.
Brady placed third in the 60m hurdles (8.46) and fifth in the long jump (5.83m). Walton finished third in the 200m dash (24.03) and fourth in the 60m dash (7.57).
In addition, freshman Chelsea Curry placed ninth in the shot put (13.40m).
