Watch: BU All-Access Show | Student-Athlete Awards Reception

BOSTON - The Boston University Department of Athletics will honor several of its student-athletes at the Student-Athlete Awards Reception on Tuesday (April 19) evening at the Metcalf Trustee Center. The reception will begin at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live at GoTerriers.com.

Among the awards to be presented include the Mildred Barnes and Mickey Cochrane accolades, which are given annually to the top female and male athletes, respectively.

The E. Ray Speare and Gretchen Schuyler honors, given yearly to the top male and female scholar-athletes, respectively, and John B. Simpson Award, awarded to both a male and female senior who has demonstrated enthusiasm and leadership, will also be presented.

BU will also recognize its Woman of the Year, Student-Athlete Service and Campus Community Recognition awards recipients.

Prior to the awards reception, the BU All-Access Show, which gives exclusive access to new and highlights of Terrier Athletics from BU players and coaches, will be streamed live from 5:45-6:45 p.m.

Seniors guests Jillian Kirchner (women's ice hockey), John Holland (men's basketball), Lisa Kevorkian (women's soccer), Joe Pereira (men's ice hockey) and Rachel Collins (lacrosse) will appear on tonight's BU All-Access Show. As always, Director of Athletics Mike Lynch will give his State of Terrier Nation.
