WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Junior forward Isabel Menard was named Hockey East Player of the Month, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Menard scored five goals and added 12 assists for a team-best 17 points during the month of February. She scored a point in six of the Terriers’ seven games and finished the month with five multi-point efforts to her credit. She had a five-point game (1g,4a) against New Hampshire on Feb. 4 to start the month and ended the month with a four-point outing vs. New Hampshire in the WHEA quarterfinals on Sunday.

The Ottawa, Ont., native is second among BU skaters with 41 points (17g, 24a). She has notched a point in 10 of her last 11 contests and has factored in five game-winning goals during that stretch.

BU will return to action on Saturday when the Terriers take on Boston College in the Hockey East Semifinals at Hyannis, Mass. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
