BARRINGTON, R.I. - The Boston University women’s golf team sits in eighth place after day one of the Brown Invitational at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, R.I. As a team, the Terriers carded a 348 after round one on the par 72 course.

Christina Patracuolla had the best day for the Terriers, as the rookie finished day one tied for 30th by shooting an 85 (43-42). Classmates Kristyna Pavlickova and Flor Canedo are close behind, as they sits in a tie for 34th place with an 87 (43-44).

Senior Courtney Dampolo shot an 89 on the first day (49-40) while sophomore Christine Silen carded a 92 (46-46). Seniors Jill Eelman and Veronica Rodriguez round out the field for the Terriers with scores of 95 (47-48) and 110 (53-57), respectively.

The Terriers totaled nine birdies for their Spring Birdies tally.

The Terriers return to the course on Monday, April 9, for day two of the Brown Invitational.
