CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Junior R.J. Page and senior Joel Senick were each named to the America East Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

This is the second straight season that Page has earned the honor, while Senick is making his first appearance on the squad. Page maintained a 3.44 grade-point average while majoring in economics as well as business administration and management. He had an impressive outdoor campaign, as he broke his own conference record in the 100m dash and also defended his 200m dash title en route to being named Most Outstanding Track Performer at the America East Championships.

Senick had a 3.67 GPA as a communications major. His finest moment of the outdoor season came as he anchored the 4x400m relay team to a school-record time of 3:08.85 at the Penn Relays. Senick ran the final leg in 46.20 seconds to lead the Terriers to a second-place finish in the IC4A final that afternoon. Senick also finished second in the 400m dash and third in the 200m dash at the conference championships.

Both Page and Senick will compete at the NCAA East Preliminaries this weekend (May 24-26) on the campus of the University of North Florida. The duo will be part of the 4x400m relay team that runs in the national quarterfinal round on Saturday night, while Page will also compete in the 200m dash.
