Golf Concludes Fall Schedule at Lehigh Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Led by junior Kristyna Pavlickova's third-place performance, the Boston University golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the Lehigh Invitational this past weekend at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Pavlickova led the field of 46 after the first round thanks to a one-under-par 71. She completed the two-day tournament with a score of 150 (71-79), eight strokes back of the winner. Pavlickova only bogeyed one hole on Sunday, firing an eagle, a birdie and 14 pars to take a two-shot lead.

The Terriers combined to shoot 310 on Sunday before totaling 323 in the final round for a two-day score of 633. They finished in a tie with Georgetown and bested Patriot League foe Lehigh by one stroke. Harvard won the nine-team tournament with a score of 600.

Junior Flor Canedo (82-78) and freshman Adela Cejnarova (78-82) each tied for 20th with a score of 160. Canedo's final-round 78 was the Terriers' best individual score on Monday. Sophomore Emily Tillo carded a 165 (79-86) while classmate Maddy Silverman improved her score by five strokes on Monday to finish with a 173 (89-84).

BU concluded its fall schedule this past weekend with its fifth top-10 finish in as many tournaments. The Terriers finished the season with four straight top-five finishes and set two new school records. BU recorded its lowest team round ever (297) as well as its lowest 54-hole total ever (907), both of which came at the Yale Intercollegiate.
