BOSTON - Three Terriers and the 4x400m relay team qualified for finals and junior Connor Sullivan earned points on Saturday as the Boston University men's track and field team competed in day two of the IC4A Championships at the BU Track and Tennis Center.

Sullivan earned the only points of the day for the Terriers thanks to a fifth-place performance in the high jump. His leap of 2.06 meters is a season-best mark for Sullivan.

BU is in prime position to earn maximum points in three other events. Senior Tewado Latty broke his own conference-best time in the 400m dash with a time of 46.92 seconds, which was the second-best time during preliminaries. Graduate student Zachary Ray finished second in the prelims of the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.98 seconds.

The 4x400m relay team of Latty, Ray, senior R.J. Page and freshman David Lagerberg posted a time of 3:11.64 to qualify for Sunday's final. The foursome finished only behind George Mason (3:10.82).

Freshman Kevin Thomas continued his strong rookie season by qualifying for the final of the mile run. His time of 4:08.70 edged that of sophomore Stuart Ross (4:08.74) for the last spot in the final.
