Lightweight Rowing Continues Inaugural Season at the Eastern Sprints

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The Boston University women's lightweight rowing team continued their inaugural 2012-13 season at the Eastern Sprints in Cherry Hill, N.J. on Sunday. The team finished fifth in both the lightweight varsity eight race and the lightweight varsity four.

Coxed by sophomore Katie Scott and stroked by classmate Carol-Chase Peterson, the varsity eight boat finished behind strong crews from Radcliffe, Princeton, Georgtown and Wisconsin and well ahead of Buffalo.

The lightweight team next travels to Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester to take on Bucknell on May 17.
