JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Boston University golf team concluded the fall season at the Jacksonville University Courtyard Classic on Tuesday at Marsh Landing Country Club.
BU placed seventh in the 14-team field, totaling a score of 910 over the 54-hole event. That score is just three shots off the school record. The Terriers combined to shoot 311 in Tuesday's final round thanks to sophomore Adela Cejnarova's team-low 73. She finished tied for 11th with a score of 223, thanks in part to her 69 on Monday.
Freshman Phyllis Tang was the only Terrier to play all three rounds under 80, as she posted a final-round 77 to finish tied for 20th with a score of 227 (74-76-77). Junior Emily Tillo (76-73-81) and senior Flor Canedo (75-75-80) each finished tied for 29th at 230 while senior Kristyna Pavlickova (77-81-84) was the only player to record two birdies on Tuesday.
The Terriers will be back in action on March 1 when they begin their spring season at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate.
