BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Boston University women's golf team remains in second place through two rounds of the Patriot League Championship at Saucon Valley Country Club on Saturday.
Sophomore
Amy Han shot a team-best 75 on Saturday while junior
Annika Manjunath carded a 4-over 76. Manjunath, now tied for fourth, will enter Sunday's final round six shots off the lead at plus-5.
Han recorded BU's first eagle of the season when she holed out from 147 yards with her approach on the par-4 eighth hole. She is currently tied for 12th at 12-over.
Senior co-captains
Victoria Takai and
Christy Chen shot a 77 and 78, respectively, in round two. Chen now stands tied for ninth at 10-over while Takai is 15th at 13-over.
Sophomore
Hibiki Adachi improved seven shots from Friday with a 6-over 78 to move into a tie for 18th at plus-19. Classmate
Madison Takai is now tied for 21st (+21) after carding an 82 on Saturday.
The third and final round will take place on Sunday (April 20) with the Terriers getting on the first tee beginning at 10 a.m.
