BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Boston University women's golf team will aim for its first conference title since 2022 when it competes in the 2025 Patriot League Championship starting on Friday at Saucon Valley Country Club.
The Terriers are coming off a win at the Navy Spring Invitational, holding off the host Midshipmen - last year's Patriot League champion - by two strokes on their own course. Sophomore
Amy Han won the tournament with a score of 3-under en route to PL Golfer of the Week honors.
This year's Patriot League Championship will be hosted by Lehigh and is scheduled to consist of one round on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. BU will face Lehigh, Navy, Bucknell and Holy Cross in a battle for the league's automatic bid to the NCAA regionals. Each of the five teams consists of six golfers, with the top four scorers in each round counting toward the team score. The final team score will be determined by totaling all completed rounds. Individual scoring consists of the lowest aggregate score of all completed rounds.
Two-time reigning PL Golfer of the Year
Christy Chen enters her final league tournament and will hold the top spot in BU's lineup followed by Han, senior
Victoria Takai, junior
Annika Manjunath, sophomore
Hibiki Adachi and sophomore
Madison Takai.
Manjunath joined Chen on last year's All-Patriot League First Team and Han was the league's Rookie of the Year.
The Terriers will tee off at 10:50 a.m. on Friday.
