The Terriers held an early 5-2 lead heading into the first media timeout of the game. Out of the break, Colgate used a 9-0 run to grab an 11-5 advantage before Agboola stopped the streak with a pair of free throws. The senior then added a pair of baskets to bring BU within one possession.

Senior Melissa Gallo got on the board with a trey to make it a one-point game, 15-14, with 8:28 to play in the half. The teams traded baskets before Hope netted a triple to tie the game at 19-19 with under five minutes to go. The Raiders responded with a 3-pointer from Catherine Lewis and a jumper from Josie Stockill but Hope got BU back within a possession with her second triple of the half.

After Colgate regained the lead Scannell hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the final 45 seconds to give BU a 30-27 lead heading into the break.

With an 11-3 run over the first five minutes of the second half, BU grabbed a 41-32 lead. Colgate briefly brought the margin to five points but a jumper from McKendrick started a 10-2 streak for BU to take its largest lead of the night, 53-40, following a trey from Gallo with 10:53 on the clock.

Scannell and Colgate’s Mariah Jones traded triples and the Raiders went on to score nine unanswered points to pull within four points, 59-55, with 5:20 remaining. Agboola converted a three-point play for the Terriers to gain some separation but Colgate brought the deficit back down to four points with 2:57 on the clock.

Trailing by six after a jumper from Agboola, Butler hit a shot for the Raiders who then called timeout. Scannell was sent to the line out of the break and hit both of her free throws but Harris converted a layup on the other end. Agboola and Hope then combined to go 4-for-4 from the charity stripe in the final 30 seconds to extend the margin and despite a final basket from Missy Repoli, BU claimed the 72-68 victory.
