BOSTON – The Boston University women's lightweight rowing team competed in Day 2 of the 52nd Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) on Sunday. Battling windy conditions throughout the afternoon, the day was highlighted by a second-place finish in the women's lightweight championship eights race. On the day, the lightweights had two top-5 finishes competing against the best collegiate lightweight boats in the country.

BU SUNDAY RESULTS
- Women's Lightweight 4 "A"– 4th place (20:46.06)
- Women's Lightweight 4 "B"– 7th place (21:08.39)
- Women's Lightweight 8 "A" – 2nd place (18:28.02)
- Women's Lightweight 8 "B"– 6th place (19:01.68)
HOW IT HAPPENED Â (SUNDAY)
- In the women's lightweight 8 race, the Terriers battled old foe Harvard with the Terriers finishing second in a field of nine. Coxed by sophomore Anna Wisotzkey and stroked by classmate Janice Hagerman, the lightweight varsity boat finished with a time of 18:28.02, 11 seconds in back of winner Harvard (18:17.59).
- The BU lightweight 2V also competed in the lightweight 8 race and finished sixth with a time of 19.01.68.
- In the women's lightweight 4 race, the 4"A" finished fourth (second among collegiate boats) with a time of 20:46.06. Coxed by sophomore Taylor Alix and stroked by freshman Elise Gorberg, BU finished behind only MIT (20:37.24) among collegiate boats.
- The lightweight 4 "B" also competed in the lightweight 4 race and finished seventh with a time of 21:08.39.
