GREENSBORO, N.C. - Senior
Adela Cejnarova of the Boston University golf team finished fifth at the Starmount Forest Fall Classic hosted by UNC Greensboro on Monday and Tuesday.
Cejnarova carded a final-round 75 to finish with a 54-hole total of 227 (74-78-75). The Terriers completed the two-day tournament with a score of 952 (309-317-326) to finish sixth as a team. Cejnarova led the field in par-5 scoring (-2) and also sank eight birdies, second most of any player.
Freshmen
Abby Parsons (81-78-84) and
Zhangcheng Guo (76-82-85) each tied for 31st with scores of 243. Guo was one of three golfers to record an eagle. Junior
Phyllis Tang was two strokes back in 36th (78-79-88) while freshman
Saeros Oskarsdottir totaled a 252 (85-85-82). Sophomore
Megan Carter competed as an individual and tied for 38th (83-83-81).
BU will be back in action on Friday when the Terriers begin the three-day, 54-hole Yale Intercollegiate.
