RESULTS
The Boston University women's openweight and lightweight rowing teams concluded their fall seasons on Saturday by competing in the Foot of the Charles Regatta. The day was highlighted by a third-place overall finish by the lightweight V8 boat in the varsity 8 race competing against both openweight and lightweight competition.

Janice Hagerman, finished with a time of 21:06, good for 3rd place and behind only openweight crews from Harvard and Northeastern. The lightweight V8 easily finished first among lightweight crews, well ahead of rival Harvard (8th - 21:34) and MIT (10th - 22:15).

Emily Huber, the BU 1V finished ahead of 14 boats in the field of 21.

In the novice/freshman 8 competition, the BU openweight "A" finished 4th overall with a time of  14:14.6 on a shorter course while the lightweight novice A finished 5th with a time of 14:20.7 and first among lightweights.

Saturday's racing marked the conclusion of both teams' fall season. The lightweights will next compete in Clemson, S.C. at the Spring Break Regatta on March 11. The openweights are scheduled to begin their spring season on the Charles River at the Beanpot Regatta on March 24.
