CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Freshman Alexander Seal of the Boston University men's track & field team earned his third-straight Patriot League Male Track Rookie of the Week award, the conference announced on Monday.

Seal was named PL Rookie of the Week after competing in the 1 mile at the Scarlet and White Invitational on Saturday. He finished with a personal-best time of 4:01.16 which leads the Patriot League for the year and places eighth in the region behind only runners from Syracuse and Georgetown.

Monday's award was Seal's third-straight PL Male Rookie of the Week honor. Last week, the Austinmer, Australia native won the award after he placed 11th in the mile at the John Thomas Terrier Classic with a time of 4:01.62, which stood as 20th in the country at the time.

On Jan. 25th, Seal was named PL Rookie of the Week after he took first place in the mile at the BU Multi-Team Meet with a then personal-best time of 4:06.12.

The Terriers will be back in action this week at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the TTC.
