BOSTON - The Boston University women's soccer team will honor its eight-member class of 2018 as it hosts Colgate on Saturday, Oct. 28 for Senior Day. 

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the Senior Day ceremony, as the first 100 will receive a free BU soccer mug.

Patriot League Picture

• BU sits in fourth place with 16 points, trailing Colgate (17), Bucknell (21) and Navy (22).
• With a win, the Terriers would clinch the No. 3 seed and host a Patriot League tournament quarterfinal game on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
• Bucknell and Navy will matchup on Saturday for the regular season title and the right to host the remaining tournament games. Navy needs to win or tie in order to host, whereas Bucknell needs a win. 

The Class of 2018

• BU will recognize Hannah Ciolek, Christina Wakefield, Hannah Wilcox, Erin Neville, Alivya Wimmer, Jesse Shrec, Jacki Carty and Rachel Bloznalis prior to the start of Saturday's game.
• The eight-member class of 2018 has guided BU to a 44-27-10 record, two Patriot League titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Additionally, the senior class has posted an astounding 27-4-4 mark in Patriot League games and has tabbed 30 shutouts.

Last Time Out

• Trailing by two, Dorrie Varley-Barrett headed in her first goal of the season off a corner kick from Erin Neville in the 44th minute, but the Terriers could not deliver an equalizer as they dropped a 2-1 decision at Bucknell on Saturday.

The Back Line

• The backline ranks third in the Patriot League in goals allowed (16) and goals allowed per game (.89).
• BU has posted eight shutouts this season, including six against conference foes.

Terrier Tidbits

• Christina Wakefield leads the team in points (13) and is tied with Anna Heilferty for the lead in goals (5).
• Heilferty leads all freshmen in the league in points (12) and goals.
• Jesse Shreck is tied for second in the Patriot League in assists (5) and ranks third on the team in points (9).
• In Patriot League games, Shreck has compiled seven points on two goals and five assists.
• Amanda Fay leads the Patriot League in goals allowed (6), goals against average (.532), and ranks second in save percentage (.846).

Closing In

• Head coach Nancy Feldman is five wins away from her 300th career victory at the helm of the Terriers.
• Feldman has posted a 295-142-43 (.659) mark during her tenure at BU and owns a 387-160-53 (.689) career record.

Scouting Colgate

• The Raiders suffered their first Patriot League loss on Saturday, falling 2-1 to Navy to snap a 10-game unbeaten streak. Colgate now stands at 5-1-2 in conference games and is 9-5-2 overall.
• Mara Costentino leads the Raiders in goals (6) and points (16), while Sotomayor follows with five goals and 12 points.
• Kelly Chiavaro has been the Raider's primary netminder, starting 13 games and owns a .657 save percentage and a 1.81 goals against average.
• Kathy Brown is in her 27th season at the helm of the Raiders and is the winningest coach in Patriot League history with a 126-45-16 (.716) mark.

The Series

• BU is 6-0-1 all-time against Colgate and has won all three matchups at Nickerson Field.
• In last season's tilt, the Terriers pushed their win streak to four against the Raiders after Jesse Shreck netted the lone goal of the contest in the 15th minute.
