Women's Basketball Closes Three-Game Road Trip at Harvard Tuesday

BOSTON – Closing out its three-game road trip, the Boston University women's basketball will travel across town on Tuesday, Nov. 21 for a 6 p.m. tip against Harvard.

LAST TIME OUT

  • Katie Nelson poured in a 25-point effort in an 85-79 victory at Delaware Sunday afternoon.
  • The freshman paced the Terriers with seven points on 3-of-3 shooting in extra time, and also led the team with seven assists and four steals.
  • The game featured 16 lead changes and eight ties and marked BU's first overtime victory since Dec. 10, 2012, a 68-61 win against Harvard.
  • The Terriers won their first game at Delaware since 1992.
  • BU's 85-point outing was its highest point total in a road victory since Jan. 16, 2013, an 85-84 victory at Maine.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

  • Katie Nelson was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after her 25-point outing versus the Blue Hens.
  • Nelson connected on 10-of-16 shots from the floor and led BU with seven assists and four steals.
  • The Falmouth, Massachusetts native leads the Patriot League with 6.0 assists per game and leads all freshmen in the league with 13.3 points per game.

  • Harvard has taken the last two matchups against the Terriers and seven of the last 10.
