BOSTON – Following a three-game road trip, the Boston University women's basketball team will return to Case Gym for a 1 p.m. matchup against Boston College on Sunday, Nov. 26. 

LAST TIME OUT

  • BU dropped an 80-70 decision at Harvard Tuesday night.
  • Katie Nelson led the Terriers in scoring for the second straight game, netting 19 points to go with a team-best five assists.
  • Corrine Williams sparked a second-half comeback attempt, scoring 13 in the latter half and finished with a season-high 17 points and a team-high six rebounds.
  • Payton Hauck notched double-digit scoring figures for the fourth straight game, tallying 15 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the floor.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
  • Katie Nelson was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after her 25-point outing at Delaware Nov. 19.
  • Nelson connected on 10-of-16 shots from the floor and led BU with seven assists and four steals.
  • The Falmouth, Massachusetts native leads the Patriot League with 5.8 assists per game and leads all freshmen in the league with 14.5 points per game.

BLOCK PARTY

  • Sophie Beaudry leads the Patriot League with 2.3 blocks per game.
  • The senior led the league with 2.1 blocks per game a season ago and was named to both the All-Patriot League First Team and the All-Defensive Team.
  • As a team, the Terriers lead the Patriot League with 4.25 blocks per game.

FROM THE FLOOR

  • Payton Hauck ranks second in the Patriot League with a .611 shooting percentage and is tied for fourth with Katie Nelson with 14.5 points per game.
  • Hauck has shot over .550 percent in all four games and has notched double-digit scoring figures in each.
  • Sophie Beaudry follows with a .520 mark from the floor.
  • Beaudry led the Patriot League last season with a .509 field goal percentage.

FROM DOWNTOWN

  • BU leads the Patriot League with a .397 3-point field goal percentage.
  • Katie Nelson leads the league with 3.0 triples per game and ranks second with a .462 shooting percentage from beyond-the-arc.

FLOOR GENERAL

  • Katie Nelson leads the Patriot League in assists (23) and assists per game (5.8).
  • Nelson also leads the league with 38.5 minutes per game.

HEATING UP

  • Corrine Williams has notched double-digit scoring figures the last two games and has shot at least .500 percent from the floor in both contests.
  • Williams has also led the Terriers in rebounding in each of the last two games, posting nine against Delaware and versus. at Harvard.

SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE

  • The Eagles are coming off a 79-74 victory over Houston on Wednesday and stand at 3-2 on the season.
  • Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris leads the team with 14.6 points per game, while Sydney Lowery (12.4), Taylor Ortlepp (11.8) and Georgia Pineau (10.3) are also averaging doube-digit scoring figures.
  • Ortlepp, a sophomore, poured in a career-high 21 points, including a perfect 10-for-10 clip from the free throw line, against the Cougars. 
  • Andie Anastos, who stared on the Eagles women's ice hockey team for four years, leads the team with 4.3 assists per game.
  • Anastos was the first women's hockey two-time captain in a decade and finished as Boston College's all-time leader with 156 games on the ice.
  • Erik Johnson is in her sixth year as head coach of the Eagles. Johnson served as an assistant coach for the Eagles from 2005-08.

THE SERIES

  • Sunday's contest will be the 24th meeting between the two Boston foes.
  • BC leads the all-time series, 13-10, and has taken the last four matchups.
  • During the Eagles' win streak, they have won by an average of 17.0 points per game.
