GOAL-BY-GOAL
- Cook opened the scoring just 1:32 into the proceedings. After UNH netminder Hilary Cashin (20 saves) pushed the puck into the right corner, senior Maddie Elia collected it and dished it back to Cook at the right point. The freshman defender's shot went through a sea of bodies and straight into the back of the net.
- The Wildcats responded with a power-play goal halfway through the frame to tie the contest.
- Leslie regained the lead for the Terriers with a sensational individual effort. She picked off a pass at her own blue line and raced into the UNH zone. A trailing defender slid in front to try and disrupt the play, but Leslie pulled the puck back to create space for herself, and with another defender hounding her, uncorked a wrist shot that beat Cashin with 6:39 to play in the first period.
- UNH scored twice in the first 2:43 of the second stanza to take a 3-2 lead.
- Freshman Natasza Tarnowski tied the game, 3-3, at the 9:46 mark of the frame. After the puck bounced off a couple players between the circles, Tarnowski picked it up and quickly backhanded the puck past Cashin for her third goal of the season.
- Sutherland secured the 4-3 victory for the Terriers with a power-play strike just 1:58 after Tarnowski's marker. Cook blasted a shot over the net and off the glass. The puck caromed right to Sutherland at the left post and the senior made no mistake for her 11th goal of the season.

- Sutherland had a helper on Tarnowski's goal to join Cook as Terriers with two-point nights.
- Junior Nina Rodgers moved her point streak to three games (2g, 2a) with an assist on Sutherland's strike.
