The Boston University women's basketball team will continue its two game road trip on Saturday at Lafayette. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
BU (7-14, 5-5 PL) is in search of a season sweep of Lafayette while the Leopards (1-21, 0-10 PL) will look to snap a 21-game losing streak.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Juniors Sophie Beaudry and Corrine Williams each reached double figures in scoring, but the Terriers fell to Navy, 55-41, on Thursday night in Annapolis, Maryland.
  • Beaudry led the Terriers with 15 points while Williams added 11 points of her own.
  • Both teams struggled from the floor, with Navy shooting 28.4% and the Terriers hitting just 26.1 percent of their shots.
  • Senior Courtney Latham led BU in both rebounding (9) and assists (4).
  • BU led, 16-11, after the first quarter and only trailed by one going into halftime. 
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS
  • Lafayette is on a 21-game losing streak after winning its season opener.
  • The Leopards most recently suffered a 63-55 setback against Army West Point on Feb. 1.
  • Olivia Gumbs is the team's leading scorer (7.5 ppg) and rebounder (6.1 ppg).
  • Sammy Stipa averages a team-best 2.59 assists per game.
  • Lafayette has not scored 60 points in any of its last five contests.
LAST TIME AGAINST LAFAYETTE
  • BU defeated Lafayette, 68-50, on Jan. 8 at Case Gym.
  • The Terriers outscored the Leopards, 20-9, in the fourth quarter thanks to a 12-2 run that began the frame.
  • Senior Corinne Williams scored a career-high 21 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter alone, and also brought down nine boards.
  • Senior Sarah Hope went 4-of-7 from beyond the arc and finished with 15 points while freshman Nia Irving added 13 points and nine rebounds.
  • The Terriers held Lafayette to just 16.7 percent shooting over the final 10 minutes.

  • BU will return home on Wednesday, Feb. 8, to host American at Case Gym. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
